Hello everyone! I recently got a Revopoint POP 3 Plus 3D scanner, and I'm excited to use it for scanning small objects (like figurines and jewelry) as well as some medium-sized items (like busts and mid-sized artworks). I'm hoping to use it for personal DIY projects and maybe even take on a few small jobs. However, my current computer's specs aren’t quite up to the task, and I'm experiencing lag and even software crashes. So, I'm here to ask for your recommendations on a suitable computer!

 Usage Scenarios and Requirements

My main goal is to run the POP 3 Plus software smoothly, and I also want to use Blender and other 3D post-processing software to refine and repair models. Here’s what I’m looking to do:

High-precision 3D scanning: I’d like a computer that can handle high-resolution data during scans without lag.
Post-modeling and detail work: I’d like the computer to run modeling software (such as Blender and MeshLab) without any issues.
Data storage and management: Since 3D scan files tend to be large, I need sufficient storage with quick data transfer and retrieval speeds.

Budget

My budget is around $1,500, but I’m open to going a bit higher for a more long-lasting investment.

I’d really appreciate any suggestions or advice you can offer. Thanks a lot for your help!
