I have HP 15-da0411tu. Please tell me if my laptop has two slots of RAM Or not? If present should I go for 4+4 gb Or 4+8 gb? 2400hz

Hi:

 

Your notebook has two memory slots and can support 2 x 8 GB of memory.

 

See chapter 1 of the service manual for the memory upgrade info.

Personally, I would go with adding an 8 GB DDR4 memory chip in the empty slot so you have 12 GB of memory.

 

One day you may want to max out the memory and you can remove the 4 GB memory chip and install an 8 GB memory chip in its place.

 

That way you won't have to remove two perfectly good 4 GB memory chips (one you paid for).

 

This would be a compatible 8 GB memory chip for your notebook:
