Up pavilion dv5000
Microsoft Windows XP

I have a HP Pavilion dv5000 and think it from 2004 with Windows XP Home Edition and  I plugged charger into charger port and heard a pop or arc noise. Now computer will not charge or come on what could have happen and could it be fixed if so how can you go about to fix it or will it be worth fixing

@JBevers1990 I understand your concern and I have brought your issue to the attention of an appropriate team within HP.

They will likely request information from you in order to look up your case details or product serial number.

Please look for a private message from an identified HP contact.

 

Additionally, keep in mind not to publicly post personal information (serial numbers and case details).
