HP 15z-eh000 laptop about 2-3 years old
Suddenly won’t accept a charge at all on the battery and the computer doesn’t recognize the usbc charger where it once did to supply power. Before this immediate issue, when plugged in it would accept a charge 3 secs then disconnect and then charge again but it did charge. I’ve changed the battery with a new one, same result of not receiving a charge.
My ac power adapter never worked and that’s why I charged w usb c in the above frustrating manner but it would eventually charge. Now using same usbc adapter it recognizes it is plugged in as the amber light comes on but it just won’t charge
I just updated bios and bios firmware and getting same thing
Usb c charging is enabled in the bios
‘Plugged In’ all it reads, not plugged in, charging as it once intermittently did.
