Of course this happens just 2 months after warranty ended...
I had my laptop running and plugged in an external USB DVD-Writer to watch some movie, when the laptop just turned off (100% Battery, connected to power). A few seconds later I heard a small "pop" sound, but as I am half-deaf I am not sure about that (could also be something dropping or just my imagination. I sometimes just hear things). Well... Laptop was dead. I can push the power button and I have a white light on the button for around 1-2s before it turns off. Charging light, when plugged in, is there. But I cant seem to turn it on anymore.
Any idea what I can do? I dont have electronic tools to find the defect, but maybe someone can tell me, if there is a fuse or something I could change somewhere on the board. I was using the USB A port on the right (the one down, more towards the user) with my USB DVD-Writer (which had worked prior to that just fine...).
