You ca try some of these things:

Your laptop has a faiirly high res screen and a 3 cell battery, a pretty strong processor and most importantly, dedicated graphics so it is always going to be short on battery runtime. You should be getting more like 4.5 hours, however. The big thing is to lower the screen brightness as much as you can.

Can we have the full model number of the laptop? However, under 2 hours of runtime is not normal or acceptable. If you have an option to return it to the place of purchase for full refund you many want to consider that. If not we are happy to try to help but it is very difficult to double or triple battery runtime with self-help.

I dont work in high brightness as it will be problematic for my eyes. The battery pointer is always at the better performance mark for adequate amount of brightness for healthy working but that isnt solving my problem of having such a poor battery backup. Well I think I have invested my money in the wrong laptop as the company might not be able to match my satisfactory level with this product or I must have been given the defected peice by the company staff itself.
well I appriciate your concern for replieng to my questions.
