Solved!

Possible Memory upgrade to 16GB [LF374AV] - custModel

Pavilion dv6t-6000
Microsoft Windows 7 (64-bit)

Hi,

LF374AV or LF374AAR is the product .

I7-2630QM is the proccesor.

Can I Upgarge my memory to 12/16 GB of RAM ?

If so, can it damage the life-span of the laptop ?

Thanks,

@LiorAsis,

Welcome to the HP Forums!

Thank you for posting your query on this forum, it's a great place to find answers.

Don’t worry, I assure you I will try my best to get this sorted.

In order that I may provide you with an accurate solution, I will need a few more details.

I checked the specifications of your computer and see that you can upgrade the RAM up to 16GB.

Please refer to the below service guide for your computer for more information.

http://h10032.www1.hp.com/ctg/Manual/c02842252

Upgrading the RAM will not affect the life-span of the computer.

Hope that answers your question and you have a great day!

Cheers!
