Hi there,
I'm wondering about the upgrade options and whether they are possible for this model. I have emotional values attached to this particular laptop (out of the 4 laptops that I already own; all in working condition).
The following modules/components:
RAM (max 16 GB): it's upgradable, I've done it.
HDD: Can I upgrade it to an SSD (Solid State Drive) internal; I know about external (via USB)
Processor: Comes with a 3rd gen i3; is it soldered or replaceable?
Graphics Card: Comes with AMD RadeOn; can this be replaced: I know about the externally usable USB PnP.
And while we're on this, how would the cooling work out? Would upgrading just the RAM to it max overheat the system too frequently? Is it that bad of a choice? I really wish to finish my game in this system for emotional values. Thanks for your support.
Best regards,

Hi,
Max RAM is 16GB of DDR3L (2x8GB) 1600MHz
Extra Ram will not heat up the system.
Yes you should replace the Hard Drive with a 2.5 " SATA3 SSD such as the Crucial MX500 or similar of your desired capacity. It will give a great boost to the everyday performance of the PC.
The CPU and GPU are not upgradable without replacing the motherboard.
