I was contemplating purchasing the "Post Warranty" coverage for an Envy 16 laptop but MANY of the reviews I've read reflect that its useless, not monitored and poorly administered.  So, I think I'll save the money to purchase a new device if I encounter problems with my laptop.  So far the Envy laptop has been a good purchase.  I have purchased HP products for work and personal business for well over 25 years and honestly I've recently (last 8 years or so) noticed a decline in quality of workmanship.  I worked in Palo Alto where HP began in a garage, great success story......lately turning into a sad situation with faulty equipment, printers, supplies and computers.  I still hope there's improvement coming, rather than a further decline in the quality and reliability of HP products.   Equipment I used to recommend and defend to other business professionals now gives me concern and caution.

Normally, that is some sorts of insurance. Can you wait for after your house burned down then to insure it ?
