I had bought this product in US and now facing issues just after 1 year of purchase. Laptop charging stopped working and cross symbol would appear on battery symbol. Tried formatting, resetting bios and installing drivers again but issue kept resurfacing.

Had to take it to authorized HP Service Center and they replace Power Control IC and Power Charging IC.

Did anybody faced this issue ?

Also is there any authorized HP email ID to which we can mail in detail ? I have few other issues to report.

I understand that the power charging Ic stopped working.

 

The issue seems to be the hardware part, I would suggest you contact our phone support.

 

They will help you.

 

Here is how you can get in touch with phone support.

 

1)Click on this link - www.hp.com/contacthp/

2)Select the product type.

3)Enter the serial number of your device or select let HP detect your product option.

4)Select the country from the drop-down.

5)You should see the HP phone support number or Chat option listed.
