HP ENVY 13-ba0xxx
Microsoft Windows 10 (64-bit)

I'm having considerable trouble trying to figure out what power adapters I can use with my HP Envy 13, and where to buy them. I would appreciate it if someone could tell me how I should be searching for them, especially regarding what factors are VITAL for an adapter to work properly with my device (i.e. you should only use X-volt adapters or Y-brand adapters) and which factors can vary without risking damage. For example, I got the impression like the wattage is a vital factor as I was browsing online, but then I came across an HP guide discussing how a lower-watt adapter would affect the laptop's performance. For another example, I have no idea whether or not an adapter that's listed as compatible with an HP ENVY 13-aq... laptop would work identically with my 13-ba... model.

I would deeply appreciate some clarity on the matter, trending towards too much information/too in-depth instead of too little information/not in-depth enough.

I reviewed your post and I understand that you are looking for a replacement adapter for your computer.

Don’t worry, I assure you I will try my best to get this sorted.

The wattage, voltage, and the pin it uses to connect to the DC port of the computer are the main factors you should consider while purchasing a replacement.

I recommend you contact support and they will assist you in ordering the replacement adapter for your computer.

Here is how you can get in touch with support.

1)Click on this link – www.hp.com/contacthp/

2)Select the product type.

3)Enter the serial number of your device or select let HP detect your product option.

4)Select the country from the drop-down.

5)You should see the HP phone support number or Chat option listed.

Let me know how it goes and you have a great day!
