Hi guys,
I've an HP 450 G6. It's battery died and wouldn't charge. I replaced the battery due to laptop is old. It didn't work. I also replaced the RTC battery today.
Charging cable doesn't have any light when it's connected, but USB charger has light.
Power button, caps lock and charging light blink. Caps lock has 3 second continuous light, power button flashes off quickly, charging light is also 3 seconds on and a second off. Charging light turns orange when I press the power button.
I press hold power button for 10 seconds and lights goes off. And lights come back blinking as soon as I stop pressing the power button.
Any idea or help is appreciated in advance.
Cheers

Hi @markusmitev
What does "Charging cable doesn't have any light when it's connected, but USB charger has light." mean? I am certain that your laptop wasn't delivered with a USB type power adapter.
Your laptop can't be charged with a USB type power adapter without extreme modifications.
If the delivered power adapter does not cause the power/charge LED to light up when it is connected then there is either a power adapter fault or a charging circuit fault on the system board.
The blinking LEDs are because you replaced the RTC battery.
You should only do one replacement/upgrade at a time. Move on to the next upgrade/replacement when the first is successful.

There is no lights at all when charger with adapter is connected. I tried usb c type charger cable which I use to charge my phone. It turned the lights on and I charged my laptop before with that way.
Thanks for your answer.

A phone charger wouldn't have enough power to properly charge a laptop.
Using that charger may have been the cause of the charging circuit problem.
