Dear community,
My power adapter (blue tip) that I ordered in the EU as a replacement does not fit all the way into the jack. The charging seems to work (though slowly). Is it possible that this model has two different power adapter sizes, one that is standard in the EU and one in the US?
The online sources were not conclusive. Amazon.de and third-party sellers indicate the 4.5mmx3mm blue tip should fit but it does not. What size do I need? I would guess .5mm less on the length would fit but its hard to guess.
Thank you
Michael

There's a different adapter for discrete and integrated video (your model is integrated). This is the correct HP Part number:
65 W, NPFC, RC 4.5 mm, EM 913691-850
This is a 4.5 x 3mm adapter
Here is the list from the Service Manual of all adapters for this model with integrated or discrete and then there is a different one for Argentina, too
HP Smart AC adapter
45 W, RC 4.5 mm, NPFC, non-slim 741727-001
45 W, NPFC, SB 4.5 RA - Argentina 741553-852
65 W, NPFC, S-3P 4.5 mm 710412-001
65 W, NPFC, RC 4.5 mm, EM 913691-850
65 W, NPFC, SB 4.5 RA - Argentina 710340-850
A quick search seems to say all these are 4.5mm x 3.0 tips.
