HP Pavilion x360 -14-cd0055tx
Microsoft Windows 10 (64-bit)

I have HP Pavilion x360 -14-cd0055tx laptop bought in India. The power cord has a type D plug to connect to a switch point commonly used in India. I want to buy a power cord which has flat pin, type B plug, that is compatible with charging points used in the United States of America. Can you tell me the parts number of the power cord that can be bought and used in the USA? (Part numbers- 920688-016 for the power cord and part number: 913691-850 for the 65W AC adapter. These are the hp part numbers of the Indian version). Please tell me the part numbers for usa version of power cord.

Hi:

The power adapter would be the same.

You only need a different cord.

Chapter 3 of the service manual indicates that you need this cord/part number...

For use in North America   HP Part #  L19367-001

You're very welcome.

You want the one listed in the service manual I posted, chapter 3, page 26.

That would be the right one.

Thank you Paul. The reason I am asking regarding the part number 920688-001 Power cord - C5 1.0m Stkr Conv NA  because it's similar in part number to the Indian version, that is 920688-016 Power cord - C5 1.0m Stkr Conv INDIA. The one you have posted is L19367-001 for use in North America was a bit different. So I asked the question regarding which is better of the two- Hp part numbers 920688-001 or L19367-001 ?

You're very welcome.

All I can do is advise you as to what is listed in the service manual.

No doubt there are several different part numbers that could work.

The part number L19367-001 is used in over 200 different models according to the HP parts store.

So is the one you posted.

Here is a picture of the part number  920688-001...I attached it below.

If it matches the end that goes into your power adapter, then it should also work.

There is no available picture for the L19367-001.

Thank you so much Paul.

I have another doubt regarding the power cord set requirements given at the end of manual with regards to specific  countries. Will there be an issue with the voltage requirements to specific country and will it damage the laptop in any way as I bought it in India  and now if I buy the power cord compatible to USA?

Thanks again!

Anytime.

The power adapter will work in every country except Argentina, according to the manual.

So, there will be no problem attaching the cord made for use in North America to your notebook's power supply, assuming you are going to use the power cord in North America.  😊
