The laptop supports Power delivery, but when connecting to it a 100 watt power supply tupe C, there is no reaction, the laptop does not charge and the charger does not switch to 20 volts, what is the problem? Maybe you need a trigger for forced activation of 20 volts for the charger?

Hi @mishane
The issue is, you must purchase a 130 watt USB-C type charger, the same power as your AC charger, If not, then power off the device to charge it.

I understood, but unfortunately there are no power banks for 20 volts, 7 amperes, a maximum of 5 amperes, and if you connect it through a special adapter to the socket for charging, the processor resets its frequency to 0.79 GHz. Is it possible to solve it somehow? Without changing the charger, but so that the processor is at least 2.4 GHz, is it possible to temporarily disconnect the discrete video card, etc.?

I don't understand , you are using a power banks, this does not work you must use a USB-C adapter that plugs into the power and this must be 130 watt power. With a power bank you will not be able to charge the battery.

I already charge the laptop from a power bank, but with such a charge, the performance of the processor drops, is it possible to solve it somehow? That is, as I understand it, the laptop sees that it is not an original charger and therefore lowers performance.

This cannot be prevented, the device is designed to work properly with a 130 watt charger or higher. No less, it is strange to me that it does not give you error messages.

It simply lowers the processor frequency to 0.79 GHz and keeps it at this level, and if the battery is discharged, it charges it without problems, but it is difficult to work at such a processor frequency. With a charged battery in this mode, the laptop consumes 20-30 watts of power.

I have a 150 watt AC on my laptop, when I use less watts there is an error message in windows, and everything goes slower, it is not possible to skip the specifications of the HP engineers to make it work correctly,
