My HP Pavilion Notebook fell while the AC Adaptor was plugged in. The external male power connector 'PIN' broke off in the internal power receiver and had to be removed with pliers. I have replaced the AC adaptor and the Notebook will not accept a charge. I would like to replace the internal power connector but I need the following information:
- Is the internal power connector a replaceable part or is it integrated into the motherboard?
- What is the Part Number?
- Is the part available on HP Part Surfer?
- Is there a guide to follow for this part replacement available from HP?
Thank You

@MStalcup To confirm, you are referring to the AC adapter connector port on the laptop, right?
If yes, the part is replaceable and here's all you need to know:
you may order the replacement parts on the HP Parts Store, If you've already looked for it and couldn't find it on the HP Parts Store, you may want to get it locally at the online store such as Amazon or eBay, etc...as the part numbers are universal.
(Note: The link above is specific to the OP's product, if anyone needs information about their device, please respond with the complete product number for assistance and we'll be happy to help)
