I would like to purchase a power supply or extension cord for my laptop that will give me some more reach than the one that came in the package, but I want to be sure I purchase the right one so that I don't burn out the batter or otherwise damage to the computer or affect its performance. What would work with my computer?

I actually use the following cords for my machines (from 1m to 10m)

Thank you for your response. Just one last thing: I live in the U.S., so I'm having trouble finding a cord with those exact specifications online. Searching Amazon is providing me various results that say 125 volts or 250 volts, etc. etc. I want to be as exact as possible, because I really do not want to risk damaging this machine, and I really such when it comes to the details about power cables. Thank you.

I think Banhien retired for the night. US uses 125V so any grounded 3 prong 125V extension cord rated 10A or more will work.
