Hi, I have an HP 15s-eq3003 laptop and I've noticed that the original power supply started to act weird today. It starts charging normally and after 5 Min It stop and doesn't recover. Is this a common issue or just bad luck? For the moment I'm tempted to reuse the power supply of the old laptop which is also hp and has the same connector and output voltage bit double the power, it's safe to use? Thank you for any support you can provide

If the laptop is still within the one year warranty period it is still covered and can be replaced under the warranty.
No.
It is not normal at all. YOu are probably right about the bad luck.
Does your location in Australia have power failures or surges?
