Hi,

My laptop battery was dead so I have been using my laptop with charger plugged in. But now suddenly it is powering off suddenly even charger is connected and for next one day it is not working, after one day it will run again just for one hour with charger connected.

I reviewed your post and I understand that the computer is shutting down randomly.

Don’t worry, I assure you I will try my best to get this sorted.

I recommend you replace the battery as soon as possible. Based on your description it looks like the computer is overheating and shutting down and this could be due to no battery present in the computer.

However, I recommend you update the BIOS and the graphics driver from the below link and check whether the issue is resolved.

BIOS: https://ftp.hp.com/pub/softpaq/sp100501-101000/sp100871.exe

Graphics: https://support.hp.com/in-en/drivers/selfservice/hp-15-bs100-laptop-pc/16851388/model/21833346

Let me know how it goes and you have a great day!
