Hi MKazi,

Could you tell me if HP sells genuine HP battery part # 756743-001 ("Battery (Primary) - 4-cell lithium-ion (Li-Ion), 2.8Ah, 41Wh (VI04041-CL)") ?? The HP Parts Store doesn't have it available from that site, and I don't trust non-HP people/companies who are listing and selling "genuine HP" batteries deceitfully. Who sells true OEM Genuine HP part # 756743-001 batteries? Is there any benefit to call HP and order the battery, or doesn't HP manufacture it or have any in inventory?

Thanks for your review and feedback.

I am the Echo_Lake  looks like you were interacting with MKazi, but he is out of the office today, so I'll take over from here.

I did go through the product spec of your HP ENVY Notebook - 15t-k100 CTO (ENERGY STAR) battery and found out your shopping around for
HP OEM 4 cell lithium Li-Ion battery, I would request you to contact our Support and our Support Engineers should be able to sort this out. HP Support can be reached by clicking on the following link: www.hp.com/contacthp/ or you can check Amazon shopping site.

Hope this helps! Keep me posted for further assistance.

Hi Echo_Lake,

Thank you for your reply. I will consider contacting hp for support, but since the machine is out of warranty, I would have to pay for the call (and not too happy about that). Also, the Amazon link you provided is not for a genuine HP battery. The brand is GreenTechLLC. I am able to get such knockoffs at even lower prices (on Amazon, ebay, and elsewhere), none of which I'm interested in, regardless of price, if it's not a genuine HP battery.

Thanks for your help,
