I used to have no problem printing from my HP ENVY m6 Notebook PC laptop but suddenly, every time I try to print, I get the message that I have to use the HP ePrint Service. I have found this impossible to do and my web search suggests that this service has been retired.
I note that the Quick Print icon at the top of my Word page now has the words HP ePrint next to it, which it never used to have.
Please let me know: –

– How to remove HP ePrint from my laptop
I do not have an HP printer. I have a Canon MG3650 S printer.
Thank you.

I suggest that you uninstall and then reinstall and configure your printer's driver software.
This may help remove the service.
In the search box, type in printers and then click on the app that appears. Look for the HP Print Service and click on the arrow to its right. Click on Remove.

Would yours solution work for a Canon printer?
There is no Search Box on my Canon printer. I cannot therefore find HP ePrint Service on my Canon printer.
If you agree that I do not have a printer problem, as my printer is not an HP printer, and that it is therefore a laptop problem, I should be grateful for your further suggestions.

Yes.
Go to the Canon support website and download, install and configure the software they have for download that is appropriate for your printer.
Your problem is with the lack of a properly configured printer installation. That is an operating system and printer problem, not a laptop problem.
We do not provide support Canon products here.
