Hi, I need to upgrade this one to 16GB or 32GB.

Would this module work for me?

Hi:

 

The memory part number you posted won't work.

 

1. It is CL18 and a DDR4-2666 MHz memory chip used in HP business class notebooks is CL19.

 

The CL18 timing is too fast for the PC to negotiate.

 

Do not buy performance memory for HP business class notebooks.

 

Recommended:

 

Crucial 16GB DDR4 2666 MT/s (PC4-21300) SODIMM 260-Pin Memory - CT16G4SFRA266 at Amazon.com

 

Or this:

 

Timetec 16GB DDR4 2666MHz (DDR4-2666) PC4-21300 (PC4-2666V) Non-ECC Unbuffered 1.2V CL19 2Rx8 Dual R...
