ProBook 11 EE G
Microsoft Windows 10 (64-bit)

I have a year-old X360 11-ABO11DX and don't like it.  I hate the small storage, lack of ethernet port, non-replaceable battery, etc.

I just saw this new one on Amazon (although I won't but it there).  A few questions.

- Does the CPU use a fan, or is it cooled passively?

- The the CPU be slowed down to save energy and reduce heat?

- Is the battery user-replaceable?

Thanks.

There are few generations now, which genaration you are talking about ? The following information is for G2

1. It does have fan/heatsink

2. All machines do the same thing.

3. Yes, it has two options

  • 6-cell, 64-WHr, 4.2-AHr, Li-ion part # 797430-001 (better but heavier and more expensive).
  • 3-cell, 36-WHr, 3.2-AHr, Li-ion part # 797429-001

Regards.

Thanks for the info about the heatsink, fan, and battery.

I don't know about the generation.  I am not aware of multiple generations of N3060 and 4405U CPUs.

Not sure what you mean about "all machines do the same thing."
