After updating my notebook bios to the version 01.07.00 Rev.A it crashes regularly after about 45 minutes of use any time I use it. With its old bios it worked just fine. So I ask HP to solve that issue, but in the meanwhile I would like to install the previous bios version on my notebook to solve it. Can I downgrade my notebook bios to its previous version?

I found in the bios settings the option to downgrade the bios to its previous version, and I downgraded it. Now I have to test my computer to see if that issue is solved, otherwise I will factory reset my notebook.

Thanks.

The BIOS downgrade did not solve the issue, so it was not caused by the BIOS update, so I factory resetted my notebook. Then I applied all the Windows updates and all the HP updates, including the BIOS update, and now my notebook system is enough stable, although sometime it still crashes.

On this forum I found the instructions about how to permorm an hard reset to my notebook, I applied them and now my notebook has come back to its initial stability. 😊
