Product: ProBook 455 G8
Operating System: Microsoft Windows 11

I have a ProBook 455 G8 that came with 8GB of RAM. I want to add additional 8GB. I found HP RAM, but in product info, Memory section,  there is list of Configurations where 2 × 8GB is not mentioned.

1 × 16, 1 × 8 + 1× 4, even 2 × 4GB is mentioned, but no 2 × 8GB. Is this something important, and 2 × 8GB is not supported or some missed confirmation in the documentation?

Hi:

 

Surely it is just an oversight in the manual.

 

At the bottom of page 1, the manual shows that it can support 2 x 16 GB of memory so it should also support 2 x 8 GB of memory.
