ProBook 6560b CPU upgrade
Hello,
I'd like to upgrade my current laptop,
Product: ProBook 6560b
Operating System: Microsoft Windows 10 Pro(64-Bit)
Motherboard HP 1619 KBC Version 97.4D
BIOS HP 68SCE Ver. F.50, 04/08/2014
The current processor is Intel Core i7-2630QM
My question:
which processors are compatible to upgrade?
Should I also upgrade BIOS Version for CPU upgrade?
Thanks a lot, banhien. He recommended me the list of CPUs from the documentation of HP Probook 6560b & HP EliteBook 8560p.
Here I have only one choice for an upgrade to CPU (i7-2720QM, 2.2 GHz, L3 6 MB).
Does anyone have any experience in upgrading the motherboard HP 1619 KBC version 97.4D with chipset QM67
with
i7-2670QM, (2.2GHz, L3 6MB, 45W)
or
i7-2760QM, (2.4GHz, L3 6MB, 45W) ?
Thank you for all the comments.
Regards
Darius
