In the second screenshot you posted, what does the details report show when you click on it?

basically nothing, gives me that hourglass thing for 5 mins then just stays there without the hourglass its unresponsive for some reason as the drive is not even read in that screenshot, on a related note the windows loader took more time in the instance of the drive not being shown,

How did you set up the Tiny11 installer?

Does your notebook have a UEFI BIOS with two sets of boot options --Legacy boot sources and EFI boot sources?

Or does it only have one set of boot sources = a legacy BIOS,

If your notebook does not have a UEFI BIOS you have to create the Tiny 11 installation flash drive with a MBR partition scheme.

If it has a UEFI BIOS, the best way to create the drive is with the GPT partition scheme.

What I suggest you do when you are at the screen where Windows won't install, clean the disk using the dispart utility and see if you can install Windows afterward.

  1. Press Shift+F10 from inside Windows Setup screen to open a command prompt window.
  2. Type diskpart and press the Enter key.
  3. Type list disk to find your disk number.
  4. Type select disk (e.g., select disk0) to choose the disk you want to format.
  5. Finally, type clean to wipe the disk completely.
  6. Exit diskpart and install Windows.

it supports Legacy and UEFI Hybrid with CSM and UEFI Native without CSM, i am running UEFI native and your disk part command only shows me the external hard drive to which windows in loaded on to,

I have a trusted windows 10 USB flash drive do i put the drivers into it and try if windows 11 reads it?

sorry but i kind of don't get what you are saying but with this information can you tell me the next steps of the diagnosis?

HP Recommended

Diskpart should have shown you the internal disk, so unfortunately, I don't know what the problem is, and I wouldn't be able to help you any further with the problem you are having.

It's probably that off-brand disk itself.

but then why did it work in the trashed laptop? it was an HP pavillion g6 which is of the same age and worked fine>??

@Paul_Tikkanen

Hello! it took me a while to source a good trusted SSD but I found this one sa400s37/240g I bought it with a warranty but windows still won't install, neither Tiny 11 nor Windows 10 it doesn't even go up to boot and just shows me the light blue background on both OS drives.
