I am trying to upgrade my laptop by following this video
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=AYSCixzCGyg
And have taken every visible screw is out...including the hidden ones.
Used powerful flashlight and magnifying glass - All are removed
Keyboard section and bottom are still not totally separating
Some portion of the center section is holding them together
If I pry hard enough they may come apart
in pieces
which I don't want
I have the new memory chip and SSD drive ready to go in but I'm stuck
Help..?
Any assist appreciated

HP 15-rtw131wm is an invalid model/product. You also mention 15 g258no and 15-dy. What is your machine actually ?

Ahhh
My mistake.
Not rtw131wm but a HP 15-rt131wm with Product # K7W76UA#ABA
This is how far I have gotten. The ribbon connecting keyboard to chassis.
Scared to yank on it and break the ribbon
Have the SSD ready to install as well as the memory chip.
This is as far as I have gotten.

Yah, I have looked at my owner's manual a few times
It simply says to remove the ribon
Not how to do it
I am afraid of pulling it apart in the wrong way
Also, not sure if taking the keyboard off is mandatory to
replacing the memory and hard drive
Update...Yep I do have to remove the keyboard ribbon and another
small one near it to separate the two halves of the chassis
So close and yet so far
