Problem with Graphics card

I have Pavilion DM4 1219th bought Jan 2011.

i am using the same os comes with the notebook. Graphics card driver is installed and if i enable graphics card mode the screen goes off. After deleting driver i reinstalled it. again the same thing happened. At one point of time there was an error message says that PCI bus is not connected. I have installed pci chipset drivers also. still problem persists. Now the PC is running intel graphics driver and its very slow.

Graphics card is ATI mobility radeon 6370 version.

I tried downloaing ATI driver form authorized website. No Improvements.

VGA driver also showing warning triangle in device manager.

OS: Windows 7 64 Bit

If you've already downloaded and reinstalled the proper HP device drivers, since HP is no longer writing drivers for Win7, you're not going to be able to find anything newer to use.

On the other hand, if the PC is VERY slow -- to the point of being very hard to use -- that points to a failing hard drive, which would not be unusual in a Win7-era PC.

If your PC is new enough to support UEFI, you can use these steps to test the hard drive: http://support.hp.com/us-en/document/c00439024

If not, to check the drive you have to follow these steps:
1) Press Esc key repeatedly, several times a second, while rebooting the laptop. Do NOT hold the key down, just press it over and over.
2) Eventually, you will see an HP Startup Menu -- that will look similar to the image below ...

3) press the Function key for testing the hard drive (usually F2) and let it run.

Please report back the test results.

i did the above tests and found no problem with hard drive.

I have doubt that the problem persists because of graphics card. 

VGA driver is not properly working. hence the Loading of every window, images and videos is slow.

is there any test to find out the  status of graphics card? I enabled the VGA driver the pop up error came up that PCI express port no 0045 - Hardware ID missing.
