Hi,
I am trying to install the Samsung 970 EVO Plus on my laptop Pavillion 15 ak004nl.
The system simply does not see the card. I have also tried with Samsung SW: no way.
I found some info about enabling AHCI mode which should make it visible and installing NVMe drivers. But this is not an option present in my Bios and I do not know how else to do it.
I've also read that maybe the system, though having an M.2 slot, it is not able to use NVMe cards.
Please help

Samsung 970 EVO Plus series is for M.2 NVMe SSD's. Your machine supports M.2 SATA 3 SSD's therefore it won't know new NVMe drive. You need to use Samsung 860 EVO series M.2 SSD's or similar.
Regards.

Hi Bnhien,
Thanks for the answer.
Instead of moving to a different M.2 card, can I simply connect it to the Pci slot with an adapter?
