Problem with upgrading ram sticks

HP Recommended
Omen 17-w122tx
Microsoft Windows 10 (64-bit)

I recently bought 2 - 16gb DDR4 3200 ram sticks.

The problem i'm getting is when i put both in my laptop won't start anymore.

when i tried putting 1 in with 1 of my old ones the laptop booted fine and detected 24 gbs ram however when i use the new sticks alone my laptop won't boot.

Tried this with both sticks and both sockets.

Any ideas what could be wrong, is it a problem with the ram sticks or the laptop itself?

Can you tell us more specific about your new RAM? Vendor, type, etc... so other user may come to help you...
