Hello again.

I have tried to update the BIOS by downloading manually.
And that update is still in the list of suggested updates...

Wow ! I am very tired this Sunday morning (a time change in Europe)..

This is what I have in the history of Windows Update :
- HP Inc. - SoftwareComponent - 4.2.2437.0 (27/03/2025),
- HP Inc. - SoftwareComponent - 1.76.4125.0 (18/03/2025).

That's all for the moment...

Hello Max3Aj.

I don't know exactly where we are.
No HP updates are considered as done.

All I have in Windows Update is :
- HP Inc. - SoftwareComponent - 4.2.2437.0 (installed on the 27th March 2025),
- HP Inc. - SoftwareComponent - 1.76.4125.0 (installed on the 18th March 2025).

I will in the future re-consider about buying HP.
Sorry !

@Rourou_LB, Thanks for the clarification! Based on what you’ve shared, it seems like the HP updates are not being recognized as completed, and Windows Update is only showing two updates.

Here's what might be happening and how we can address it:

Why HP Updates Are Not Showing as Done in Windows Update:

HP Support Assistant might be offering updates repeatedly because they’re not being applied properly.

The HP updates you're seeing on the website might be a mix of drivers, software, or firmware updates that need manual intervention to install properly.

Next Steps to Fix This:

1️⃣ Manually Install HP Updates from the Website

Instead of relying on automatic updates, let’s try manually downloading and installing the updates from HP’s website:

Go to HP's Driver and Software page.

Download the latest versions of BIOS, chipset, graphics, and other essential drivers.

Install them one by one.

After each installation, restart your computer to make sure they’re applied.

2️⃣ Use HP Support Assistant to Clear History and Recheck for Updates

Open HP Support Assistant.

Go to the Settings menu (gear icon).

Look for an option to clear update history or reset update preferences.

After doing that, try re-checking for updates in HP Support Assistant.

3️⃣ Check Windows Update for Optional Updates

Sometimes, HP updates appear in the optional updates section:

Go to SettingsWindows UpdateAdvanced options.

Look for Optional Updates.

If any HP updates appear there, install them manually.

4️⃣ BIOS/Chipset Drivers Reinstall

Sometimes, updates like BIOS and chipset drivers don't apply correctly the first time. Try manually reinstalling the BIOS and chipset drivers from HP support page.

I hope this helps!

Hello Max3Aj !

I have not found any blue enveloppe (private message).

Manual updates :
"Désolé

Le Site Web d'assistance HP est temporairement indisponible. Nous sommes désolés pour les inconvénients. Veuillez réessayer plus tard.".
Webpage unavailable !

HP Support Assistant : there  is a kind of wheel (gear, in fact), then I have not found "Clear update history".

Windows Update, Optional updates : none available.

How many manual updates shoud I try ?
I have been trying for 4 ou 5 days...
One at a time ?

Have a nice evening (I suppose you are in the USA) !

Hello again @Max3Aj !

The blue enveloppe is not on your website but in "HP Support Assistant".
And ? No new messages.

I have dowloaded one update manually.
Then installed it by clicking on the ".exe".
I have rebooted and ? Nothing appears !

What I have to download, is it in the upper or lower part of the screen please ?

Well…

I have tried dowloading updates manually and one by one.

I have stopped after two or three files.

Nothing actually works.

Thanks for all and goodbye !

I had posted another question or topic and, finally, I have been considered as a spammer.

So…
