Any

I'm posting a possible solution for a processor overheating.  It would theoretcically work with may models of any laptop/notebook, but I would only use it for a personal one or someone that does'nt care.

My wife's notebook overheated a few times due to using it on top of a blanket. Each time ithe fan and fins would be clogged with debris. After this happened a few times it statred overheating even when it was, making it placed on a rigid surface. Assuming the processor/chipset may be damaged causing the overheating to happen sooner, I decided to increase the size of the intake port on the bottom of the notebook. This also removed the fiberglass mesh on the inside, so I improvised by glueing a piece of window screen material to the inside the newly enlardges hole. I just used a piece of aluminum screen that I had laying around, but fberglass window screen would be the ideal material. Nevertheless, the notebook hasn'nt overheated since.

OOPS. Forgot to include a picture. When I did this I didn't care about cutting it perfectly straight.Processor_Hole.jpg
