I have a HP Notebook 15-be001tu, which has N3710 Pentium processor. Laptop is very slow and I am looking for available upgrade options for the processor. Please suggest the options, where can I buy them and how much would they approximately cost.

Hi:

The processor is an integral part of the motherboard and cannot be upgraded unless you replace the motherboard with one listed in chapter 3 of your notebook's service manual that comes with a better processor.

You would also need to purchase a new heatsink and probably a fan as well as many notebooks with the Pentium processors do not come with fans.

You would also need to find the motherboard that comes with the Windows product key in the BIOS, or you would also need to buy a new license for W10.

Finding the parts you need for such a complicated upgrade will probably be very hard if not impossible to find, and most likely will be very expensive, making such an upgrade a very poor return on investment.
