Processor Upgrade

HP G72 Notebook PC
Microsoft Windows 10 (64-bit)

My notebook runs slowly and I wonder if it could be that the processor (Intel Core i3 CPU m370@2.40 MHz) is the problem.  If so, can it be upgraded and how expensive is it?

It is always advisable to make a Complete restoration using the Recovery in case of having, to discard that it is not a system conflict or some virus or malware.
