I reviewed your post and I understand that you want to know whether you can upgrade the processor on your computer.

 

Don’t worry, I assure you I will try my best to get this sorted.

 

Usually, the processors are soldered to the motherboard and you will not be able to replace the processor alone and you may need to replace both the motherboard and the processor. However, HP doesn’t recommend processor upgrades or downgrades and you can try this at your own discretion.
