Hi:

Run the Windows system information app and post the product number of the PC.

The product number will be found on the System SKU line about 1/4 of the way down on the report.

What you want to do is probably not doable, but I want to check the service manual for your notebook to confirm.

Hi, I can't run the information app on my notebook number. G4X94UAR#ABA from HP with the a10-574m but other models from the same family always appear but the closest model I found is the HP Pavilion 15-n243cl a10 a10-5745m

Hi:

Below is the link to the service manual for your notebook.

c04438537.pdf

Chapter 1 has the list of supported processors.

Looks like your notebook has the best processor supported in the model series.

I would say that the motherboard will not support the 35W processors.

Hello, I saw the file you sent but I didn't understand the memory part. Could I change the RAM memory on my notebook from a ddr3l of 1333 to a ddr3l of 1666?

HP Recommended

Hi:

Chapter 1 of the service manual indicates the notebook supports 2 x 8 GB of DDR3L-1600 MHz memory.

The manual indicates 12 GB of memory is the max, but that is not correct.

The DDR3L-1600 MHz memory will run at 1333 MHz because that is as fast as your notebook's processor can run the memory at.
