I’ve an hp probook 4530s with intel core i3 2310M.
As it is very old now I want to give it a last fighting chance in order to avoid throwing it away (it has served me for almost a decade now, I believe it deserves it). For that I want to upgrade it to the highest level possible.
After going through the manual and posts I learnt that the max compatible processor is intel core i7 2670QM. But the thing confusing me is that it has 45W TDP while they existing processor has 35W TDP. Hence would this upgrade cause overheating issues? Or HP has designed the cooling system in probook 4530s for 45W TDP by default?
This is the kind of question for which I can’t find an answer anywhere.
Thanks in advance.

Page 97 of the following manual shows a list of CPU's supported (and part #)

Manual also shows you how to replace CPU/Processor.
Regards.
