Hp spectre x360 14 e100

Hi this is actually my first time post an issue since being a customer of hp for many years. On Nov 29 2021 I ordered hp spectre x360 14 for my brother who is going to enter college this year. I thought that considering the upcoming Christmas I ordered ahead of time and was expecting it to arrive before Christmas but on Dec 23 I got an email saying that it has been delayed for 1MORE MONTH  which came as a shock for me. I tried calling the customer service but the response was unsatisfactory I even tried to cancel the order and buy another one but didn't do it considering how my brother loved the laptop. So my request is for any hp customer service who read this please find me a solution.

I am sorry you are waiting.

 

Anything that can be done must be addressed with the HP Store Customer Service department.

We simply don't have any way to influence the process one way or the other.

 

What??

HP Store Customer Service does not read Community posts - we are a user forum - we are not a department in HP.

 

If an individual who works in the order department happens to read a post in the Community, they cannot - and would not - intervene using our Community as a means to contact you about a purchase.

 

Considering the problems with the now infamous "supply chain", everything from the holiday rush, to the world-wide chip shortage, to ships floating in harbors instead of offloading their shipments, the last days of November might have been soon enough to expect everything to go as wanted - this time, not-so-much.

 

I hope it works out.
