Example: Pavilion dv6
Microsoft Windows 7 (64-bit)

Hi, my Mum has HP Pavilion dv6 laptop. It's been fine for years, but now the fan has stopped working. We replaced the fan, which didn't solve the problem. I have now been told by my IT friend that it's to do with the graphics card overheating and having some effect on the fan. He believes that there was a product recall for this, but my Mum received nothing about it. Does anyone have any more information on this? Thanks
