Hi,
Yesterday I bought this laptop and after about 5 mins I already noticed that its fan is pulsing. It doesn't spin all the time, but quite often still, also if there's no work to be done. And when it spins it alternates between faster and slower every 2 secs. Very annoying. I already went through these steps: https://support.hp.com/in-en/document/c01007591 but no luck. Do you have any other suggestions? Or is the pulsing part of the design?
Thanks in advance!

I just bought this laptop. I've found the fan often turns under low CPU load (5%) when the CUP is only at 40C. The fan curve seems to be set to be too sensitive and the fan should not spin until a higher CPU temperature is reached. There is no user control so I expect we will have to wait for a BIOS update for HP to implement a more effective fan control curve.
