Product: HP DeskJet 2810e All-in-One Printer
Operating System: Microsoft Windows 10 (64-bit)

The documentation does not make it known that to enrol for "instant ink" it is necessary for the printer connection to be Wi Fi. It took me (old and a bit decrepit) to find this out via he HP support line. I find it difficult to cope with this stuff as it is and that's why I prefer direct connection where that is possible - the Wi Fi is not always good. I do think HP should make my situation work or provide ink at a discount  if bought regularly. Sorry to complain but its nearly driven me mad.
