Product: Hp 15t-dw300
Operating System: Microsoft Windows 10 (64-bit)

Hello,  I got a HP 15t-dw300. I intend to add a 2.5inch internal HDD to it. Does it have the space inside to do so with HDD cable and brackets? I want to use hdd along with the existing ssd actually. 

I Understand if the upgrade is possible then it should be done by hp professionals but i intend to do it anyways.

According to your Service Manual- http://h10032.www1.hp.com/ctg/Manual/c08098162.pdf,  some models came with a 2.5" and an m.2 ssd. If your laptop did not come with a 2.5" drive, it may not have been shipped with the hard drive board and cable.

 

Looking on page 18 it says -

 

(17) Hard drive board (does not include cable) L52024-001
NOTE: The hard drive board cable is available using spare part number L52025-001.

You may have to order those 2 parts to install a 2.5" drive.
