Product: HP Pavilion - 15-cc130tx
Operating System: Microsoft Windows 11

Hi, I am now using HP15CC130TX laptop. 8GB kingstone HP26D4S9S8MH - 8 RAM is installed in it by default. I have one extra slot for RAM. Wanto extend RAM using slot 2.

Want to know

1. What should be the configuration and capacity of my new slot 2 RAM? (Mhz, Maximum supported capacity)

2. Can I install RAM of other companies except Kingston (along with using the pre-installed one)?

3. Is it ok to use 8gb and 16gb RAM together?

I checked document for this, but couldn't find any proper guidance on memory RAM expansion.

A1. The best option is to use SAME existing RAM on slot 2 to get full benefit of dual channels architecture.

A2. You can use RAM from other companies BUT as mentioned above the best option is use SAME RAM

A3. Yes,

I want to know the maximum RAM capacity supported by HP 15CC 130 TX. When I run wmic cmd to check max capacity, it shows 32GB. But when I check using my motherboard model on google it shows it supports 16GB max. My query is:

1. Does HP 15CC130TX support maximum 32GB  RAM?

2. Please tell me maximum capacity of RAM per slot (I have 2 slots).

3. Can I install 24GB RAM in first slot and 8gb RAM in 2nd one?
