ProBook 6570b
Microsoft Windows 10 (64-bit)

Hi all

I recently installed Windows 10 on my ProBook 6570b. I'm undecided whether to update the BIOS to the latest version (F.66) or stay with the current version (F.45).
Two drivers were not found, may depend on Windows 10 or is it a matter of the bios update?
I read around looking on google that many users have experienced problems with this update (F.66).
Warranty and support on my product have expired then I would proceed with caution because once I update the BIOS I will have no way to recover the previous one.
Actually, F.45 doesn't give me any error.

Thanks!

The first device is the JMicron card reader:

The iwdbus I am going to toss out a request to @Paul_Tikkanen

If it ain't broke don't fix it. The BIOS will not supply missing drivers. If you have missing drivers let's focus on drivers. DO you know how to provide the hardware ID of the devices which have no drivers?

Yes, i won't update it but it's recommended to update the BIOS at the latest version, do you think i have to update or not?

However, the hardwareID of missing drivers are:

System basic device

PCI\VEN_197B&DEV_2392&SUBSYS_17AB103C&REV_30
PCI\VEN_197B&DEV_2392&SUBSYS_17AB103C
PCI\VEN_197B&DEV_2392&CC_088000
PCI\VEN_197B&DEV_2392&CC_0880

Unknown device

root\iwdbus

Thanks!

Yes, thanks for the reply, I've already solved the JMicron driver.

I've solved also for the iwdbus driver by doing this:

  1. Open Command Prompt with Administrator privileges.
  2. Type intelwidivad64.exe /install and press Enter.
  3. Wait for driver installation.
  4. Done.

Thanks to all!
