Hi I need some advice regarding this issue, I’ve got a HP Pavillion laptop, I’ve bought this laptop in summer 2016. It has been a great work horse and it still works just fine but it has come across some hardware issues quite recently, the left hinge has decided to unseat itself from underneath the laptop & in tandem this has meant that parts of the palm rest have started to crack & lift up as well as pressure being pushed towards the right hinge, and there being cracks on that side. I know I will need new hinges on both sides & a new palmrest, however from speaking to repair shops the parts and repair would be expensive to acquire, as I’ve only got a small budget due to low income. If it wasn’t for the hinges and palmrest playing up the laptop works just fine and it still does the job and I would hate to have to replace it because of 3 components needing replacing. I have researched a specific model palmrest for my laptop and it looks quite expensive, would it be possible to source a different model HP palmrest for my model of laptop as well as the hinges potentially & be able to cut costs and use compatible parts for my laptop from other hp models, I would appreciate any advice or suggestions  ? As I’m very dependent on this laptop for my career and my studies.
