hi everyone,
Recently, I meet with some problems about memory. I run the HP PC Hardware Diagnostics UEFI Tool and run the memort test. And it failed, the error code is 0G8421-A12BAD-0G8421-40KL03. I t shows the second memory kit (Bottom slot 2 right) has some problems. I wonder what the error code means. Should I replace my RAM?
Thank you very much.

Hi:
Yes, you will have to replace the defective memory chip in slot 2 of the notebook.
The notebook comes with 2 x 8 GB of memory.
You can remove the defective chip and run the notebook off the remaining 8 GB chip until you can replace the memory module.
Below is the link to the service manual, where you can find the memory removal and replacement procedure.
