Hola Tengo una laptop HP15" Ef2511la quisiera saber si se le puede aumentar el almacenamiento con una unidad ssd o disco duro ya que tiene una M.2 Nvme

Hi:

 

There is only one M.2 slot for a NVMe SSD and there is no support or options to add a 2.5" drive.

 

If you need more storage, you will have to remove the existing 256 GB M.2 NVMe SSD and install one having more storage capacity--can go up to 4 TB.

Pero al quitar la tapa aparece un espacio para colocar un HDD y aparece la ranura para conectarlo, es de 8 pines, me parece que hay algo de confusión en cuanto a esta laptop.

That may well be, but if you look at chapters 3 and 5 of the service manual I posted, chapter 3 has no parts to install a 2.5" drive and chapter 5 has no procedure to remove or replace a 2.5" drive.

 

That means if you want to try and install a 2.5" drive you will be completely on your own to figure out and buy what parts might work.

 

No one here would be able to help you with that, because the notebook does not support a 2.5" drive according to the service manual.
