Hi:
Yes, you can make the upgrades.
The non-customer-accessible/non-upgradable statement means that HP wants the upgrades to be done by an authorized service center.
If you can do the work yourself without breaking anything, then that would be fine.
There are procedures in chapter 5 for how to open up the notebook to remove and replace the components.

Hi:
Below is the link to the service manual for your notebook.
The memory upgrade info and supported drive types can be found in chapter 1.

Sir, it says;
Two SODIMM memory module slots, non-customer-accessible/non-upgradable
Supports up to 16-GB of system memory
Supports the following conƭgurations
● 16384-MB (8192-MB × 2)
● 12288-MB (8192-MB + 4096-MB)
● 8192-MB (8192-MB × 1 or 4096-MB × 2)
● 6144-MB (4096-MB × 1 + 2048-MB × 1)
● 4096-MB (4096-MB × 1 or 2048-MB × 2)
It both says user unreachable and not upgradeable. But I couldn't understand this, on the bottom lines it says it supports the following configurations. Can I upgrade my laptop now?
