MY laptop have (
Hynix HMA851S6AFR6N-UH 4GB) ram . I am thinking to upgrade another 4 gb so dimm for dual channel configuration but the problem occurs i find similar friquency ram but i can not match the latency.
(Hynix HMA851S6AFR6N-UH 4GB) latency :17-17-39 this so dimm is discontinued in my area.I find similar so dimm which is ( G.Skill Ripjaws SO-DIMM 4GB)latency:16-16-39. "if i upgrade the ram can the latency affect the performance " ?

See if you can get this Crucial memory part number for your notebook, which is listed as compatible.
